Zweisprachige Vorlesestunde

On February 27th we took a school trip. We went by bus to a library where the librarian and the reader were waiting for us. In the library there are children’s books in 46 languages. The librarian also asked us where we are from and what language we speak at home.  The reader, an American native speaker, read four stories out loud to us. The first book was for example about cats. Stefan liked it most, because he loves cats. The second one was about a girl who doesn’t want to move into a new house. As soon as she finished, we were allowed to move around in the library. Jia took a Chinese book, even if she doesn’t understand all the words. Cem read a French book, because he finds the language nice. Maximilian read the Polish version of “Greg’s diary”. Gracy borrowed an English book about bedtime stories. Eventually, we went back to school.
